The Lady In The Corn

by haikuhouse

What was once something so ordinary….

Became Saint Mary of the Corn; the angels singing & shining their light down on her face….

And when no one was looking she would dance & twirl…dance & twirl…

“My, what a beautiful scallop Olde Mr. Thompson!!”

It stopped her mid-spin & she was taken back by the seashells loveliness.

Imaginationthe faculty of imagining, or of forming mental images or concepts of what is not actually present to the senses.
