A Mouse In The House
But as I was taking that first photo, I felt as though I was looking at these objects from a different perspective; One of something much smaller.
As time goes on, I will be able to elaborate on these ideas more.
I feel blessed because it is becoming a sacred place for me, the individual. It’s not perfect & it’s chaotically cluttered in certain places but there is this spiritual collaboration happening that can’t be rushed or pushed. It’s not an easy process but it’s a beautiful one that is worth the wait…It’s the graceful growth of an individual & her house.
Of course…my oriental cloissone vase, pottery pieces, our window treatments & sectional are beautiful objects to apprecitate but I’m constantly reminded of the individual who doesn’t have these things….How do they create a peaceful place that is pleasing to the senses? How do they attain this sort of enlightening environment?
The key is being happy & content in whatever situation you are currently in…Not wanting what another person has, but making the best of it with what you have.
It doesn’t take a lot of money to create a beautiful space either. Some of my favorite pieces are just really good finds from Goodwill & garage sales. Then of course there are the family heirlooms…
Honestly though, the less you have the better off you are anyways…Just find your true identity & know there is no end to becoming who you were meant to be…It’s a thrilling & wild ride.
There is always room for growth & your surroundings will only reflect that.
Make it beautiful & make it meaningful.
Peace & blessings to all,
